Can you help me with my homework?

March 02, 2008

I figured my answer to this question would be yes for at least a few years. Now I'm wondering if she's going to surpass me in Preschool.

Mia loves puzzles. We had been looking for progressively harder and harder puzzles as she got better at them. There seems to be a big gap between 30 piece puzzles and 100 pieces. We found this map of the US and assumed it would be too hard for her, but why not give her a challenge? Within a few days she was doing the whole thing herself. What I wasn't counting on was her learning the states themselves.

Sometimes I have a hard time finding Illinois on a map. It's pretty sad when a 3-year-old can find it without flinching and I have to think about it.
